Coalhurst Elementary Kids for Karim

A group of eager grade five/six students at Coalhurst Elementary have taken on the challenge of raising money for the kids of Karim! These students are busy writing letters to each of the kids and planning fundraising events. First up is a mini ice cream cone sale planned for next week. The students will also be creating a banner recognizing all of those who generously donated through me to Karim! Watch here for details!

    Brrr! It's cold so we're going to go with hot chocolate first, then a junk sale, then popcorn, then ice cream! Our goal is $200!

    We raised about $30 today just selling hot chocolate to the grade 1/2 classes. Grade 3/4 and 5/6 tomorrow. CES students rock! Thanks for your support!

    Total money raised from hot chocolate sales $127. I think we will meet our $200 goal with three more sales events over the next three weeks!
